The flooring and custom kitchen countertops are southern yellow pine sourced from the southeastern states and milled at the Connor Flooring Mill in Amasa, MI. The pine bathroom flooring is local and was milled north of Crystal Falls, MI. The interior paneling was milled in Mohawk from locally sawn white pine lumber. Cabin has been meticulously maintained since the original 1997 custom-build. This cabin sits upon an expansive sand beach, culturally and archaeologically significant to the historic Upper Peninsula, Michigan mining era. The 100′ of unique black sand beach, reminiscent of those in Hawaii and Greece, is a playground for unlimited fun and enjoyment.
